Today, the United States became the 25th and by far the largest nation to guarantee fully equal marriage rights to its citizens.
The US Supreme court has affirmed the Constitutional Rights of Lesbian and Gay people by confirming that the 14th amendment Equal Protection Clause and actually means what it says.
We applaud the Supreme Court for this historic decision. We applaud the many thousands of committed activists that have worked for decades to make this momentous change possible. Most importantly we thank the millions of Lesbian and Gay people who have, sometime at great personal risk, been open and honest about their lives. Your integrity, commitment, warmth and love have truly changed the hearts and minds of this nation.

Justice on this issue is progressing rapidly. We encourage the Roman Catholic Church to catch up. ORDAIN WOMEN. Marry Lesbian and gay couples.
From the Supreme Court Decision:
These considerations lead to the conclusion that the right to marry is a fundamental right inherent in the liberty of the person, and under the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment couples of the same-sex may not be deprived of that right and that liberty. The Court now holds that same-sex couples may exercise the fundamental right to marry. No longer may this liberty be denied to them.
